Playfield Update
We are currently in dialog with stakeholders to draft a plan and secure funds for the rehabilitation of the Goodwill School playing field. Our plan is to build a level playing surface for the school. We also got a pledge of $350,000 from Mr. Fred Smith, which he will deliver once the project starts.
Update August 8, 2020: We are no further on the project due to lack of funding. Our plan is to keep fundraisers and continue reaching out to various entities for assistance, once the Covid-19 pandemic settles down.

Update August 2022: An application was submitted to the Sports Development Foundation for assistance. We await their response.
Update December 5 2022: A representative from the SDF visited the school recently, and after taking measurements, he advised the principal that the space was not big enough for the requested soccer field. He suggested we apply for a multipurpose court. However, the principal said that the space is best used for track & field, football and cricket as these are the sports that the children enjoy playing.
September 2023 Update: The SDF has rejected our application on the grounds that the space available at the school to create a playground is not big enough. GSAF will continue to seek funding to finance this project and give the children a proper playground. Please let us know if you can help as we are committed to this.
October 2024 Update: We are very proud to announce that phase one of the playground is near completion thanks to our many sponsors who made great sacrifices to make this a reality. Mr Fred Smith honoured his pledge for 350K Please see pictures and videos below.
